ADHD shows up differently in every person. For some it's focus. For others it's emotional regulation, time, relationships, or the exhaustion of constantly compensating. Identity, Culture & Self-Worth

This includes the weight of navigating cultural identity, the pressure of living between different worlds, and experiences of discrimination and bias that often go unspoken. Those experiences shape how you see yourself and how you move through relationships. They deserve real space in therapy, not a footnote. We'll work on building a sense of self that doesn't depend on everything going perfectly or everyone approving.

"High school is harder than most adults remember."

Academic pressure, social dynamics, family stress, figuring out who you are. Most teens carry a lot of it quietly. This is a space where you don't have to. We go at your pace with no judgment and no pressure. For parents: I work collaboratively with families while keeping appropriate confidentiality with my teen clients.
